Centovacast PRS/PPL report generator

We're pleased to announce a new self-service tool to help Canstream customers generate their quarterly PRS and PPL music usage reports.

UK internet radio stations are required to submit quarterly reports to PRS for Music and PPL detailing the music they've broadcast. These reports need specific format and calculations including Total Listening Hours (TLH), play counts, and track metadata.

If you're using CentovaCast, you'll know the export files contain everything you need - but they also include station jingles, offline markers, advertisements, and other non-music content that shouldn't appear in your licensing reports.

Our new Stats Generator tool takes your CentovaCast ZIP exports and:

  - Filters out non-music content - Automatically removes jingles, offline markers, ads, and station promos

  - Cleans your data - Fixes encoding issues and HTML entities in track names

  - Calculates required metrics - Total Listening Hours, play counts, and tracks per hour

  - Generates compliant reports - Properly formatted CSV for PRS and summary reports for PPL

How to Use It

  1. Export your monthly statistics from CentovaCast as ZIP files

  2. Visit https://statsgen.libretime.canstream.co.uk

  3. Upload your ZIP files and select the quarter

  4. Download your ready-to-submit reports

The tool runs entirely in your browser session - no files are stored on our servers.
